Won't the nutrient levels in my tank diminish over time and impact the pH, and the osmosis system in all inhabitants, causing stress and eventually a shortened life span and death?

The Hi-Q system comes with an additive called Vita-Magic. This replenishes vitamins and trace elements in the water. With the weekly addition of this, plus proper feeding of the fish, I don't see how the nutrient levels in the tank, or the osmosis system of the fish, would be in any weay impacted. pH should be monitored on a regular basis, but the pH will be a function of the alkalinity of your water, and it will tend to drop over time if your water does not have sufficient alkalinity in it.

How can the mineral rock cylinders inside the towers effectively remove nitrate if they’re coming into contact with oxygenated water? Doesn’t denitrification require no oxygen?
